Sofia's Birthday

Today is my granddaughter's birthday. She is going to be seven. I don't get to see her as much as I would like, thank goodness for the internet. She is so sweet, and beautiful {did you see her eyes} she loves to read, do crafts, and she loves soft cuddly bunny rabbits. She also loves spending time with her brother and her daddy and mom. She is my sweet angel, and I love her so much. I hope she has the best day ever. I miss you. Happy Birthday Sofia

Today is my granddaughter's birthday. I can't believe she has grown up so fast. It seems like yesterday she was born. She has grown into a beautiful young girl. She makes my heart sing. She is smart, very athletic, outgoing, fun to be around, loving, and very warm hearted. I 'm so proud of her. And hope this day is very special for her. I love you Bella. Happy Birthday.

Today is my anniversary. It's been quite a ride. We have had our good times, and also our fair share of bad times. But I choose to focus on the good, which has far exceeded the bad. When I look back on all the years we have been together I remember all the trips we have done. We bought a travel trailer 6 months after we were married and used it for about 12 years. We used to take 2 week trips with 3 kids and a least one of my little brothers. what was I thinking????? But really it was fun. We always went with my husband parents, or other family members. We cooked almost every meal outside. Now that our family has grown we still go camping, but this time it's in a 32 ft motorhome. Now we take our kids and grandkids. It's still fun! Here's to many more years of fun Jerry. Happy Anniversary.

My mom turned 85 on jan 10th, so for her birthday I made her this pillow. I saw it on rhonna's blog and decided to try it. Not bad for my first try. I made the flowers from felt. I found a lot of the patterns on snazziedrawers, If you haven't been to her blog you should. She sells the patterns and instructions for a really good price. I also have wanted to made cake pops for a while so I made her some also. They are really good. And easy to make. Have a good wednesday.

It's been awhile since I last wrote. So many things have been happening. I am no longer working,which seems very different. Good in some ways not so good in others. I have been able to do a lot more crafting. Been making a lot of gifts for my family. Fabric flowers and pillows and felt pillows. I will be posting pictures of them soon. Have a good day,

the cabinets stained a cherry color,

new granite counter tops, stainless steel

sink. And a pantry put in where we

used to have a china hutch. It has been a lot

of work, but it is finally starting to look

great.

Hi,

I haven't really been a good blogger since I started my blog. I'm going to try and do a lot better. I have lots of things to write about. For the last 7 months or so, my sister and I,[and my 3 brothers too] have been trying to get my mother into assisted living. We finally found a wonderful place for her. She seems to like it, and the people that work there as well. It's is so nice to have places like this for our parents who need special help. We are so lucky to have so many options. And I am very grateful for all the wonderful people who work there, and help us so much.
